Congress knowingly facilitated escape of Anderson, alleges BJP

BJP today alleged that Congress government knowingly facilitated the escape of Union Carbide chief, Warren Anderson after the Bhopal Gas Tragedy.<br/><br/>Briefing mediapersons in New Delhi, party spokesman Mr. Ravi Shankar Prasad said that Centre and the then state government deliberately ensured the safe passage of Anderson, the principal accused in the Bhopal Gas Leak case. He demanded that the government and CBI must take urgent steps to extradite Anderson. <br/><br/>He appealed to the President of the United States, Mr. Barrack Obama not to adopt double standards with India in this case.
