The top brass of Congress Party is holding the discussion on political situation in the country following decision by the TMC to withdraw support to the government. The Core group of the party headed by its President, Sonia Gandhi is discussing the political situation for the first time after Mamata Banerjee decided to withdraw support in protest against the hike in diesel prices and other economic reforms. Congress has already made it clear that Trinamool Congress is a valuable ally and its demands will be discussed by the top party leaders. In a related development Samajwadi Party Chief, Mulayam Singh Yadav today said that the Parliamentary Board of the party will meet in New Delhi tomorrow to decide future course of action on support to the government. Bahujan Samajwadi Party has hinted that party may support the government though it has announced that it will decide future course of action on 9th of next month.
