<span style="color: #222222;">Congress today hit out at the NDA government, alleging that demonetization failed to bring the desired results. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Briefing media in New Delhi, senior party leader Kapil Sibal said counterfeit notes, terrorism and black money were not curbed neither was a cashless society created post demonetisation. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr Sibal said, in 2016, cash in circulation was 17.97 lakh crore just before demonetisation. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said now, it is 21.42 lakh crore, which means, after demonetisation, there was nearly three lakh crore increase in cash. </span><br />
