Congress forces Rajya Sabha to adjourn twice

The opposition Congress in the Rajya Sabha today forced two adjournments in the pre-lunch period over Lalit Modi controversy. When the House re-assembled at noon after its first adjournment, Congress members trooped in the well in support of their demand for resignation of external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj for helping Lalit Modi's wife. <br/><br/>Amidst din, Naresh Agarwal of the Samajwadi Party again raised the issue of a letter reportedly written by 30 BJP members to the Chairman demanding action against Opposition members for disrupting the proceedings. As din continued, Chairman Mohammed Hamid Ansari adjourned the proceedings till 2.30 PM.
