Congress files complaint against BJP chief for violation of Model Code of Conduct

Congress has filed a complaint with Election Commission against BJP Chief Amit Shah and party vice-president Om Mathur for allegedly violating the Model Code of Conduct. <br/><br/>In its complaint, party said, Mr Shah made false statement against Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi, while addressing a national convention on 5th of this month at Vrindavan in Uttar Pradesh. <br/><br/>Mr Shah had alleged in his speech that Rahul Gandhi supported anti-national slogans in JNU. Congress has also alleged that Mr Om Mathur made defamatory statement against Mr Gandhi on 10th of this month.
