Congress president Sonia Gandhi has said that her party is fighting for safeguarding the secular values enshrined in the Constitution.
Addressing a rally at Mewat in Haryana on Monday, Gandhi said that this election is not only about the development of the country but also about safeguarding the constitutional framework which recognises our secular values and teaches us how to respect them.
She said that Congress will fight for a country which belongs to everyone and not just for a few and where everyone enjoys equal rights.
The Congress President said that no other government has undertaken as much developmental activities during the last 10 years as done by the Manmohan Singh government.
