Government today sharply reacted to Rahul Gandhi's allegation that the ruling party is not allowing discussion in Parliament. Finance Minister Arun Jaitley was unsparing in his criticism of Rahul, saying that those who do not speak in the House, are complaining that they are not being allowed to speak.

He said, Congress is facing crisis within the party and they need to introspect instead of dragging the name of speaker in the controversy. Brushing aside Jaitley's allegation of rebellion within Congress, Party President Sonia Gandhi retorted that let them say whatever they want to say. Her reaction came after Jaitley said that Congress was facing an internal coup and for that, it should not drag the Lok Sabha or the Presiding Officer into the mess.
