Congress faces crisis in Assam, Maharashtra & Haryana

Congress is facing a crisis as political rebellion has come out into the open in three party-ruled states.

While in Assam, Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma resigned, in Maharashtra, Industries Minister, Narayan Rane too tendered his resignation.

On the other hand in Haryana, senior party leader Choudhary Birender Singh has also raised his voice against Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda saying if the Chief Minister continues to lead the party, he will not contest the assembly polls in the state.

Assembly polls in Haryana and Maharashtra are scheduled to be held later this year.
