The Congress has downplayed absence of Railway Minister Mamata Banerjee from the Union Cabinet meeting. <br/><br/>Party spokesperson Shakeel Ahmed told reporters that it is essential for ministers to attend cabinet meetings only if there are items from their departments in the agenda of the meeting. <br/><br/>Moreover she has herself rejected the projection of any difference between her party and Congress. <br/>
