Tamil Nadu Congress President Mr. K.V.Thangabalu has said that the ties between the Congress and DMK were strong and the alliance would continue for the assembly elections.Speaking to newsmen after meeting the Chief Minister and DMK President Mr. M. Karunanidhi in Chennai today, he said the Congress General Secretary Mr. Gulam Nabi Azad during his recent visit to the city had asserted that the ties between the two parties would carry on. On the alliance, Mr. Thangabalu said the decision taken by Congress President Mrs Sonia Gandhi and Mr. Karunanidhi was final and said no one should talk on the issue.
