The Congress today dismissed allegations against Law Minister Salman Khurshid as baseless and ruled out the possibility of his resignation saying untruth can not become the basis of crucification. AICC spokesperson Manish Tewari told media persons in New Delhi that Khurshid has already knocked the door of the court to initiate legal action. Each and every allegation will be subjected to scrutiny and judicially adjudicated before the finality.

He maintained that such falsehood is an antithesis of a democratic society and hurts the rule of law. Tewari also urged media to verify the facts first, before highlighting insinuations.
