The Congress party today said, that AICC General secretary Digvijay Singh was not officially authorised to speak to the media. The Congress Party said this in an advisory to media persons covering the party beat.

AIR correspondent reports, the statement comes a day after the Congress leader dubbed Trinamool Congress Chief Mamata as immature and erratic and suggested that there is a limit to the patience of the party.

Also in a series of television interviews by Digvijay Singh had opined that the Congress will not go beyond a point to mollify Mamta Banerjee.
