The Opposition Congress in Karnataka today demanded resignation of Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa after his cabinet colleague H Halappa resigned over allegations of sexual assault.<br/><br/>Hundreds of Congress workers, led by opposition leader in the state assembly Siddaramaiah and KPCC President R V Deshpande, staged a dharna in front of the Mahatma Gandhi statue in Bangalore alleging there is no protection for women under BJP rule. <br/><br/>Siddaramaiah demanded that an FIR be filed and Halappa be arrested.<br/>
