Congress has demanded fresh polls and immediate dissolution of Delhi assembly. Talking to reporters after meeting with Mr Jung, party leader Haroon Yusuf said that he has cleared Congress stand during the meeting and urged the LG to conduct fresh polls in the city along with Jharkhand and Jammu and Kashmir. He also alleged that Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and BJP just want to be in power.

Meanwhile, Aam Aadmi Party is expected to meet Delhi Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung today on the issue of government formation in national capital. Earlier in the day, Mr Jung invited leaders of BJP, Aam Aadmi Party and Congress to explore possibility of government formation. Sources said, prior to the formal meeting with LG, Delhi BJP Chief, Satish Upadhyay and party leader Jagdish Mukhi met Mr. Jung this morning and communicated party's stand that it is not in a position to form government in the city.
