Congress demands for immediate ouster of Karnataka CM

The Congress today made forceful demand for the immediate ouster of the Karnataka Chief Minister B.S.Yeddyurappa for his alleged involvement in the land allotment scam to his kith and kin. Talking to reporters in New Delhi party spokesman Manish Tiwari accused the BJP leadership of double standards saying that while it is lecturing on morality, it is protecting the corrupt in the party, in Karnataka. The former Prime Minister and JD(S) Chief, H D Deve Gowda, has also demanded the removal of Yeddyurappa.The CPIM also made a case for a thorough enquiry into the land scam in Karnataka and advocated the need for nationalizing the mineral resources.
