Congress on Monday demanded a debate on model code of conduct during the elections. The party comments came in the wake of the Law Minister Salman Khurshid’s remarks over minority quota issue during the Uttar Pradesh election.

Briefing reporters in New Delhi , Party spokesperson Manish Tiwari said that the Election Commission is a constitutional body and every one should respect it.
