Congress demands CBI inquiry into Bhatta Parsaul incident

Congress today demanded a CBI inquiry into the atrocities committed on the farmers of Bhatta Parsaul village in Greater Noida by the Uttar Pradesh Government. Talking to reporters in New Delhi today, Party Spokesman Manish Tiwari alleged that the Mayawati government is hiding facts by converting the area into a no-entry zone. He demanded that the Uttar Pradesh government should allow people and journalists to visit the village.Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi yesterday alleged that there were 74 mounds of ashes in the area with dead bodies inside and he has the pictures to prove it. He also criticised the Mayawati Government for committing severe atrocities on farmers. He said, people are being killed, women are raped and the situation is pretty bad over there from Greater Noida to Agra.
