Congress delegation meets K’taka Governor to seek dismissal of Yeddyurappa’s govt.

In Karnataka, a Congress delegation met Governor Hans Raj Bharadwaj in Bangalore this evening to seek dismissal of Yeddyurapp’s Government allegedly facing charges of nepotism, corruption and misuse of office. The delegation, headed by State Party President G Parameshwar and Leader of the Opposition in Assembly Siddaramaiah handed over a memorandum giving details of the land scam perpetrated allegedly by the Chief Minister and his Cabinet ministers. Speaking to the media persons later, Siddaramaiah said Governor has been requested to recommend dismissal of the tainted Government in Karnataka under article 356.
