Congress defends Delhi Chief Minister on CAG report over CWG

Congress has defended Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit on the issue of CAG Report on CWG and said she will not be asked to resign. Party's top brass led by Prime Minister Dr.Manmohan Singh today met for the first time after UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi went abroad to undergo a surgery. Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee, Defence Minister A K Antony, party General Secretary Janardan Dwivedi, Ahmad Patel attended the meeting. After the meeting, party sources said that Sheila Dikshit's case cannot be compared with B S Yeddyurappa's. Backing the Delhi Chief Minister, the sources said that there are no serious allegations against her in Comptroller and Auditor General's report on Commonwealth Games Scam.
