Congress strongly criticised the opposition for not letting the Parliament function for the third day in a row. Briefing reporters in New Delhi party spokesman Manish Tewari said that the government walked the extra-mile by accepting discussion on relevant issues. He added that opposition was divided regarding their priorities of discussion.

Mr. Tewari reiterated Prime Minister's appeal to all the political parties to rise above their vested interests and let the Parliament function.
