Congress has criticised the arrest of the students of Film and Television Institute of India during a midnight crackdown. Party Vice President Rahul Gandhi said in a tweet, the students were not criminals. Later, talking to reporters Congress spokesperson Anand Sharma said, the government is undermining the top institutes of the country. <br/><br/>Mr Sharma also criticised the Finance Minister for hinting that the government may take money bill route to pass key legislations. He said, such a statement shows that the government has no respect for Constitutional procedures. He alleged that government wants to engage in confrontation with the opposition.
