Congress has completed discussions with party leaders and legislators from Andhra Pradesh on the Telangana issue. Talking to reporters in New Delhi today after Core Group meeting, party General Secretary and in-charge of Andhra Pradesh Ghulam Nabi Azad said that the discussions among the various national leaders of the party will continue to address the issue. He said that it is a delicate issue and there is no easy solution.Mr. Azad added the government is marching ahead to arrive at a political solution acceptable to all the stake-holders. Earlier, Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee, Home Minister P. Chidambaram, Defence Minister A K Antony, Political Secretary to Congress party president Ahmad Patel, met party leader Chiranjeevi and Renuka Chaudhary from Andhra Pradesh. Mr. Azad was also present in the meeting.Later, Mr. Chiranjeevi told reporters that it is a high time to take a decision on the Telangana issue as the unrest among the people is increasing. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy has also briefed the Union Ministers on prevailing situation in the state on Saturday.
