In Uttar Pradesh, Saharanpur Police has arrested Congress candidate for Lok Sabha elections Imran Masood in connection with his alleged inflammatory speech against BJP leader Narendra Modi. An FIR has been lodged against him at Deoband Police Station. Superintendent of Police (City) of the district told AIR correspondent this morning that he has been arrested from his residence and will be produced before a magistrate today.
