Congress has called a meeting of opposition parties in New Delhi this afternoon to ramp up attack on the government over demonetisation. The meeting will be followed by a joint press conference by Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi along with other opposition leaders. Party President Sonia Gandhi is also expected to join it. <br/><br/>TMC President and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamta Banerjee reached New Delhi last evening to take part in the meeting. DMK, RJD and others are scheduled to participate in it. <br/><br/>Meanwhile, Left, JD(U) and NCP have expressed their unwillingness to attend the meeting. There was no immediate word from SP and BSP on the meeting. The Congress has called the meeting to evolve a joint strategy to take on Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the wake of note ban.
