Congress today held government responsible for decline in exports. Briefing media in New Delhi this evening, party spokesperson Abhishek Manu Singhvi claimed that exports have dropped from 310 billion dollars last year, to 154 billion dollars in the current fiscal.

He alleged that the Prime Minister is only busy in his foreign visits instead of taking care of country's development. He said, the economy is in bad shape and the government is only busy in promoting Make in India, Skill India and Swachh Bharat. The spokesperson said, instead of indulging in jugglery of figures, Prime Minister should address real figures.

Replying to a query on Ramdev's noodles, Mr Singhvi said, there should be a probe in the matter. He taunted Ramdev and said he has a licence by the present government for not taking approval of Food Safety and Regulatory Authority of India, FSSAI. It is reported that the instant noodles brand launched by Ramdev has not obtained mandatory product approvals from the FSSAI.
