The Congress and the BJP have demanded a judicial inquiry into the firing incident in Bhatta Parsaul Village of Gautam Buddha Nagar in Uttar Pradesh on Saturday in which four people were killed. Congress General Secretary Digvijay Singh told reporters at Bhatta Parsaul village that a judicial inquiry by a retired judge should be held into the incident. Demanding the enquiry, senior BJP leader and former UP Chief Minister Rajnath Singh told a Press Conference that the Centre should bring a new Land Acquisition Act and till then no land should be acquired.
