<br/>Results of by polls for assembly constituencies in Kerala and Himachal Pradesh have been declared while counting for the remaining 26 assembly seats spread across five states is on. <br/><br/>In Kerala, Congress has won all the three seats in the by-polls held Saturday. In the Kannur assembly seat Mr. A.P. Abdullahkutty of the Congress won by a margin of 12,043 votes. He defeated his nearest rival Mr. M.V. Jairajan of the CPIM. In Ernakulam, Mr. Dominic Presentation of Congress humbled Mr. P.N. Seenulal of the CPM by 8620 votes. In Alappuzha assembly constituency, Congress candidate Mr. A.A. Shukkoor defeated Mr. G. Krishna Prasad of CPI by a margin of 4428 votes. All the three seats were held by the Congress. Supporters of the Congress erupted into spontaneous celebrations through out the state as new about the Congress victory spread. <br/><br/>In Himachal Pradesh, Congress and BJP both have won one seat each. Congress candidate Sujan Singh Pathania has defeated his BJP rival Baldev Raj Chaudhary by a margin 5,249 votes whereas BJP candidate Khushi Ram Balnahata has defeated his rival Congress candidate Manjeet Thakur in Rohru constituency by a margin of around 8,400 votes.<br/><br/>In Rajasthan, BJP candidate Ramesh Meena defeated Shivdayal Meena of Congress in Toda Bhim by a margin of 8277 votes. In Salumbar, congress is leading.<br/><br/>In UttarPradesh, most of the assembly cosntituencies, BSP is leading including Isauli, Rari, Etawah, Bharthana and Hainsar Bazar and Padrauna constituencies while in Kolasala constituency, an independent candidate Ajai Rai is leading.
