Congress approaches EC against PM Modi, Amit Shah

<span style="color: #222222;">Congress has approached the Election Commission against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP President Amit Shah for allegedly invoking Armed Forces in their election speeches. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">A party delegation met the Commission in New Delhi today and filed a complaint. Congress leader Abhishek Manu Singhvi told media that despite poll panel's guidelines the BJP leaders are invoking them in their rallies. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said that the Commission must stop such things. He added that the Congress has also asked the Commission to ban the web series showing Mr Modi's heroic acts.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Another party leader Randeep Singh Surjewala said that they have filed a complaint against BJP leader and Union Minister Maneka Gandhi for her remarks targeting a particular religion during a rally in Uttar Pradesh and demanded lodging of an FIR against her.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The delegation also raised the issue of variations in educational qualification furnished in election affidavit by BJP leader and Union Minister Smriti Irani.</span>
