Senior Congress leader Sheila Dikshit has been announced as the Chief Ministerial candidate by the party for upcoming Uttar Pradesh Asembly elections. <br/><br/>Party General Secretary Janardan Dwivedi along with Ghulam Nabi Azad announced Dikshit's name at a press conference in New Delhi this evening. <br/><br/>Speaking to reporters, Sheila Dikshit thanked her party for reposing faith in her. Terming Uttar Pradesh elections as a big responsibility and challenge, she hoped that her party will win. <br/><br/>Asked about Priyanka Gandhi campaigning for the election, the former Delhi Chief Minister said, Priyanka can start campaigning whenever she wished to do so.
