Congress today said it is against FDI in Defence sector. Talking to reporters in New Delhi, party spokesman P C Chacko said the government has not properly weighed its consequences and approved it in a haphazard manner. Chacko accused the BJP of adopting double standards over FDI in insurance sector saying the party had opposed it during the UPA regime. He however said Congress party believes that foreign investment should come in insurance sector.
