Congress today accused BJP leader Narendra Modi of spreading communalism in the country. Briefing reporters in New Delhi, party leader Kapil Sibal alleged that Modi wants to play the same communal card, which had brought success for the BJP in the past including Ram Janmbhoomi movement, 2002 Gujarat riots and Somnath to Ayodhya Yatra by L K Advani. He said, Modi stands for Model of Dividing India.

Sibal also alleged that BJP leaders and supporters are using morphed pictures to spread communal propaganda on social media. He said, if BJP comes to power, the secular fabric of the country would be in danger.
