Congress today accused the government of delaying the winter session of Parliament. Briefing media in New Delhi, party senior leader Ghulam Nabi Azad alleged that government is trying to run away from the issues which the opposition wants to raise in Parliament. <br/><br/>Mr Azad said it is unfortunate that even the Parliamentary Affairs Minister is not aware when the session would be convened. He claimed that due to elections in few state assemblies, government has delayed the winter session. <br/><br/>Another party leader Anand Sharma rejected Finance Minister Arun Jaitley charge that Parliament session was also not convened by the then UPA government in 2011.
