Congress today accused BJP, SP and All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen, AIMIM of spreading hate campaign to polarise voters and creating communal tension for electoral gain. Briefing reporters in New Delhi this evening, party MP Pramod Tiwari asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi to break his silence on the provocative statements made by Union Ministers and BJP leaders on Dadri lynching. Mr Tiwari alleged that Union Minister Sanjeev Balayan and BJP MLA Sangeet Som issued threats that they were capable of giving a befitting a reply. He said Congress party strongly denounces and rejects the communal politics by Samajwadi Party and BJP. <br/><br/>Expressing serious concern over the lynching incident, the Janata Dal (United) today asked the Samajwadi Party government in Uttar Pradesh to stop Dadri from becoming Muzaffarnagar. JD(U) leader K C Tyagi said there has been an increase in the number of communal events before the Bihar elections.
