Congress & AAP accuse Gujarat CM Modi of misleading people about development in state

The Congress has accused the BJP government in Gujarat of making false claims of development in the state. Addressing a press conference in New Delhi today, Party spokesperson, Shaktisinh Gohil alleged that Narendra Modi government took care of only industrialists. Citing the data issued by the state government he said, every third child and woman are suffering from malnutrition. Mr Gohil also charged Modi with misusing central funds allocated for Anganwadis and child nutrition programmes.

On the allegation of Aam Aadmi Party Convener Arvind Kejriwal about poor development in the state, Mr Gohil said Congress also holds the same view and has repeatedly highlighted the issue. He said it is unfortunate that Kejriwal was not allowed to meet Modi. He said the Gujarat Chief Minister should not have any reservation to meet Kejriwal.

Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal said that claims of development in Gujrat are false and Chief Minister Narendra Modi is showcasing the development of state is just conspiracy. Addressing the 59th foundation day function of hindi daily Rajasthan Patrika at Jaipur Kejriwal said that there is no development in Gujrat. He said that only commonman can save the country as political parties have no will to do it.
