Cong. urges Maharashtra Govt. to expedite cases of compensation to victims of 26/11 victims

The Congress party today urged the Centre and the Maharashtra government to expedite the process of compensation to the victims of 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks.<br/><br/>Talking to reporters in New Delhi, party spokesman, Mr. Shakeel Ahmed described the attack on Mumbai as an attack on the nation. Paying tributes to those who laid down their lives in the terror strikes, Mr. Shakeel Ahmed without naming any country said that those who were encouraging and sponsoring terrorism in India are now themselves victims of it.<br/><br/>In reply to a question on the involvement of former Prime Minister, Narasimha Rao in the demolition of Babri Masjid at Ayodhya, Mr. Shakeel Ahmed said that the report has made it clear that He had no role directly or indirectly in this unfortunate incident. The Cognress spokesman evaded a reply when asked about the view of Congress on the report.<br/>
