Congress and United Democratic Front MPs from Kerala today protested in Parliament premises demanding ban on import of natural rubber. Displaying posters, they raised slogans against the Centre. The Parliamentarians also demanded enhancement of the import duty on natural rubber. <br/><br/>Talking to reporters, former Union Minister Prof. K V Thomas alleged that the Centre is not taking cognizance of problems of Kerala farmers. He urged the Centre to provide relief to the rubber producing farmers from the Price Stabilization Fund.
