Opposition leaders of Congress and TMC today met President Pranab Mukherjee at the Rashtrapati Bhawan to lodge their protest that they were not allowed to speak in Parliament on many issues including demonetization. <br/><br/>Later, speaking to media, Mallikarjun Kharge of the Congress said, the opposition wanted debate in both the Houses on demonetisation. <br/><br/>Mr Kharge said people are suffering due to the poor implementation of the monetization. He asserted that ensuring smooth conduct of the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha is the responsibility of the government. <br/><br/>Six opposition parties including Left , SP and BSP have skipped the meeting with the President.
