The Congress today termed the Opposition’s continuous disruption of Parliament as unfortunate.

Talking to reporters outside Parliament, party spokesman Rashid Alvi said that instead of disrupting proceedings, Opposition should hold proper discussions in both the Houses. He reiterated the government’s commitment to discuss and debate all issues in Parliament.

Human Resource Development Minister Kapil Sibal today appealed to the opposition to enable smooth functioning of Parliament.

Talking to reporters outside Parliament, Mr. Sibal said that every issue can be settled only through discussion. The Minister said the institution of Parliament should not be demeaned by repeated disruptions.
