Congress on Saturday criticised BJP for carrying out an anti-corruption 'Rath Yatra' at a time when its own former chief minister was arrested in a corruption case.
Talking to reporters in New Delhi, party spokesperson Manish Tewari said that it would have been more appropriate if the BJP had carried out this yatra in Karnataka, Uttarakhand, and Punjab first, where its ministers have been indicted on charges of corruption.
BJP leader L K Advani is on a 38-day yatra across the country to take on the UPA government on the issue of corruption.
