In Andhra Pradesh, the Congress party has sought disqualification of 16 MLAs, who violated the party whip and voted in favour of the No- Confidence Motion against the State Government in the Legislative Assembly.The Government Whip Murali Mohan submitted the petition to this extent on Friday to Speaker Manohar. The Government Whip said these 16 MLAs had been involving in anti-party activities and gone to the extent of trying to oust the State Government during the voting on the No-Confidence Motion moved recently in the Assembly.
