Congress and Rashtriya Lok Dal have almost clinched a deal to contest together the forthcoming assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh. Congress party sources said that Ajit Singh-led party may contest on thirty five seats in the assembly elections due early next year. Congress has already declared the names of 135 candidates for the elections.
