Cong-NCP likely to finalise ministry sharing formula by tonight; New ministry within two days

The Congress and NCP today promised to form a government in Maharashtra in a day or two. Governor S C Jamir, who on Tuesday held consultations with Chief Minister Ashok Chavan and Deputy Chief Minister Chhagan Bhujbal , today said he has told the two leaders that it is their responsibility to form a government without delay. The Governor told a delegation of Shiv Sena-BJP leaders that he is very anxious to have an elected government installed as early as possible. <br/>Chief Minister designate Ashok Chavan told reporters that Congress and NCP would soon finalise the power sharing formula and the government is likely to be formed in 48 hours. Negotiators from both the parties are expected to finalise the power sharing formula by tonight.<br/>
