Cong MPs from AP meet Antony, seek action against Jaganmohan Reddy

Congress MPs from Telangana region of Andhra Pradesh today met Defence Minister Mr A K Antony seeking action against party MP Jaganmohan Reddy for joining TDP in Lok Sabha opposing formation of separate Telangana state. Mr Jaganmohan Reddy is the son of late Andhra Chief Minister Mr YSR Reddy. A delegation of the MPs led by Mr Madhu Goud Yaskhi and M. Jagannath made the demand to Mr A.K. Antony, who is also chairman of the Congress disciplinary committee. Talking to reporters after the meeting, Congress MP Mr Madhu Goud Yakshi blamed Mr Reddy for violating party discipline.<br/> Crack in the party ranks was witnessed in the Lok Sabha today as some Congress MPs from Andhra led by Mr Jaganmohan Raddy raised slogans against the bifurcation of the state along with TDP members. The Congress has so far maintained that there is no division within the party on the issue though differences in views remain over creation of Telangana.<br/>
