Congress on Monday made former Union Minister Rasheed Masood special invitee to the Congress Working Committee with immediate effect.

This was announced by the party General Secretary Janardan Dwivedi in New Delhi . The decision come close on the heels of Mr. Masood joined the Congress last month ahead of the UP Assembly polls in February.

He was a National Executive member and Rajya Sabha member of the Samajwadi Party.
