Ahead of the Monsoon session of Parliament starting Monday, top Congress leaders met party chief Sonia Gandhi and her deputy Rahul Gandhi on Saturday to chalk out strategy on crucial issues, including the GST Bill.<br/><br/>The meeting was held at the residence of Mrs Gandhi. It was attended by Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Ghulam Nabi Azad, party's deputy leader in upper house Anand Sharma and chief whip in Lok Sabha Jyotiraditya Scindia, among others.<br/><br/>Government had on Saturday reached out to Congress to seek its support for the passage of GST bill which is pending for a long time and sought the principal opposition party's support on the issue.<br/><br/>Union Ministers Arun Jaitley and Ananth Kumar had met senior Congress leaders Ghulam Nabi Azad and Anand Sharma and discussed all points to build consensus.
