Congress General secretary Digvijay Singh today condemned the violence against the student leader of JNU Kanhaiya Kumar yesterday in Patiala court New Delhi. Addressing a press conference in Panaji Congress Bhavan he called the BJP observance of three day Swabhiman divas as Abhiman or Ahankar divas of the party.<br/><br/>He said slapping sedition charge against a student leader, who, in his view, did not raise anti-India slogans, beating journalists and the accused in court premises can not be termed as acts of Swabhiman.<br/><br/>Digvijay Singh said congress party will contest all 40 seats in the March 2017 Assembly elections in Goa. He ruled out any alliance with any regional party in Goa. Referring to the BJP alliance Partner MG Party he said the regional parties do not have any ideological stand, they align with any ruling party for ministerial berths.
