Cong hopeful of breakthrough with DMK on seat sharing issue in Tamil Nadu

Congress today said that it is hopeful of a breakthrough with DMK on the seat sharing issue in Tamil Nadu. Talking to reporters outside Parliament, Congress General Secretary in charge of Tamil Nadu Ghulam Nabi Azad said that though there is no head way in the talks but the party is hopeful of the best outcome.In a related development, senior DMK leader and Union Minister Dayanidhi Maran says that they have postponed their plan to submit their resignations as the two parties are holding talks. He was speaking to reporters outside Parliament. Earlier DMK had announced that their ministers will submit their resignations to the Prime Minister today.AIR Correspondent reports that there is a stalemate between the DMK alliance and Congress on seat sharing in Tamil Nadu for the forthcoming assembly elections.
