Cong-DMK alliance will continue in coming elections: Union Minister

The Union Minister for Planning and Parlaimentary affairs Mr. V.Narayanasamy has said that Congress – DMK alliance will continue in the coming elections. Speaking to newsmen after meeting the Tamilnadu Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi today, Mr.Narayansamy said that there is no room for any speculation on the alliance. Replying to a query on the attack of Indian fishermen by the Srilankan navy, he said that Prime Minister Dr.Manmohan Singh and External Affairs Minister Mr. S.M.Krishna have taken up the matter with Srilankan President Mahinda Rajapakse . He pointed out that the Centre has given 2600 crore rupees for the resettlement of Tamils in Srilanka. Mr.Narayansamy said that he came to meet the Chief Minister extend his Pongal greetings and to thank him for naming the Government General Hospital after the former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi.
