The Congress has disapproved the remark made by the Minister of State for External Affairs, Mr. Shashi Tharoor on economic class travel. Mr. Tharoor had reportedly dubbed travel by economy class as cattle class on twitter, a social networking website. The party spokesperson, Mrs. Jayanti Natarajan said that the remark is absolutely insensitive and the Congress does not approve it as thousands of people travel in economy class. Rejecting Tharoor's comments as unacceptable, she said that they are not in sync with the country's political culture.
