A Congress delegation today met President Pranab Mukherjee at Rashtrapati Bhavan seeking his intervention in the recent developments in Arunachal Pradesh. <br/><br/>The delegation led by party president Sonia Gandhi and former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh apprised Mr Mukherjee of the political developments in the state. <br/><br/>Later talking to media, the Congress President said they met the President to express anguish and concern at the manner in which Congress government in Arunachal Pradesh is sought to be destabilized by NDA government. <br/><br/>She said party has sought President's protection to ensure sanctity of Constitution. A row had erupted in Arunachal Pradesh after state Governor had summoned Assembly session from today without consulting the state government.
